Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour , the young girl who will become the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series of the television show The Tudors and for her role as Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem, who began her journey into acting at the age of nine at Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. Her first stage performance was as a child in Iceland and was a part of TV and radio plays.
